Hinckley AFC will look to put their recent struggles behind them when they travel to Coventry Copsewood in the Midland League First Division, kick off 3pm.
AFC have lost five on the bounce following back-to-back home defeats against NKF Burbage and Littleton last week, and this afternoon travel to a Copsewood side who sit two places below them in the table.
Like Hinckley, they haven’t won since January – when they picked up a 1-0 win at Rocester – and haven’t scored in their last two league games.
The reverse fixture was AFC’s first home game of the season back in August – a controversial game in which a hotly contested goal allowed Copsewood to take a point after Grant Ryan had given Hinckley the lead.
Jean Dakouri was in the Copsewood side that day, but today he’ll line up for AFC as John Ramshaw’s side look for three points in their first away game since mid-January’s trip to Racing Club Warwick.
The home side are reporting that the pitch was playable this morning despite recent rain, but they will check again at 11.30 to confirm.
