We’re delighted to report that Mike Allcock has left hospital and is now continuing his recovery at home.
A number of people at the club have been asking about Mike, who was taken ill five minutes into the Boxing Day fixture against Heather St John’s.
He has asked us to pass on a message that he is now at home to continue his recovery, but also to pass on his gratitude for the help received at the ground and the good wishes he subsequently received.
He is also grateful for the flowers, card and wishes received from everyone at the club.
His recovery will take some time but Mike is looking forward to getting back to watching games, and thanks the club for their support personally.
We wish Mike the best with his continuing recovery and look forward to welcoming him back to the Welfare Ground soon.
