Hinckley AFC can announce that Andy Iland is the new head coach of the Under 18s team, with John Ramshaw assisting during this changeover period.
Formerly a first team coach at Coleshill Town, the 21-year-old brings a wealth of experience despite his age and has coached at the Strachan Football Foundation since the age of 16.
John will work alongside Andy and mentor him during the transition period, with Andy taking on the role permanently when the time is right.
Club director, Scott Sharman, said: “The players have really enjoyed working with John, and we felt it was right to keep that element of continuity while we bed Andy into the club.”
The management team are back in charge of the youth side tomorrow, when the Under 18s host Coventry Sphinx at the Welfare Ground.
They are currently unbeaten and top of the Midland Floodlit Youth League Eastern Division, having conceded just one goal all season.
