A vacancy has developed at Hinckley AFC of the Midland Football League for the position of Under 18 Team Manager.
The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the first team management in order to create a successful pathway of progression for youth team players into the first team squad.
A competent youth team squad, playing in the Midland Floodlit Youth League, is already in place so recruitment responsibilities would be minimum and at the discretion of the successful applicant.
Although this is an unremunerated position it does provide an excellent developmental opportunity for an ambitious coach currently following the UEFA coaching pathway. Interested parties should be able, with a degree of flexibility, to commit to two nights per week (training and games) although full support will be provided from within the Club’s current management structure.
The Club has access to excellent training facilities (full sized 3G area) and all youth team games are played at the first team stadium.
Under the Disclosure and Barring Service and in accordance with the Club’s own rules regarding on safeguarding, the post-holder will be required to meet minimum criteria regarding safeguarding and a Disclosure and Barring Check will be required in this post. Exceptions order to Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 applications.
