Hinckley AFC could finally play their first home game for seven and a half weeks when Studley visit St John’s Park tomorrow afternoon, kick off 3pm.
Recent postponements and the successful FA Vase run have meant that AFC have only played three games in 2018, all of which have been away.
But a long-awaited return to St John’s Park is on the cards tomorrow with a fellow top six side visiting in the form of Studley.
The Bees will leapfrog Hinckley in the table with a win tomorrow, and topped the table for spells earlier in the season as they recovered from an opening day defeat to go unbeaten in their next 15 games.
They now lie sixth having stuttered a little of late, and have had to contend with the recent departure of manager Keith Draper, but will be looking to get back to winning ways after a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Lichfield City last time out.
Top scorer Andy Nicol was a part of the Bromsgrove side that went unbeaten in the league last season, and has netted 14 goals thus far, while Chris Cowley and Josh Westwood have supported well with seven apiece.
Last season’s meetings saw AFC comfortable in a 5-1 home win in December, but a resurgent Studley gained a point in their battle against relegation in the reverse fixture in March – Javia Roberts cancelled out Danny Ludlow’s opener.
