Former commercial director Jason Tipping has stood down from Hinckley AFC’s Board of Directors due to work commitments.
Having taken a step back from commercial duties towards the end of last season after acquiring a new job, he has now found it too difficult to combine work with being a director.
He was instrumental in bringing new sponsors to the club over the course of his time on the Board.
He said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a director of Hinckley AFC and I’m very proud of the achievements that have been made off the pitch from a commercial perspective during my time on the Board.
“As a community based football club, it is vital that we integrate ourselves in the town we represent and I’m very proud of the relationships and friends the club now has.
“I’d like to thank everyone who helped me along the way and helped implement the commercial strategy at the club. The club is in fantastic hands and I am convinced we will continue to go from strength to strength.”
Chairman Steve Jelfs said: “Jason was a pivotal figure in the genesis of the club and his enthusiasm and energy, alongside his undoubted commercial ability, will be sorely missed.”
