The next meeting of Hinckley AFC’s new community group will be held in Gadsby’s on Thursday 24th August, starting at 7-30pm.
The first meeting was held last month and was chaired by David Hynes, who will be running for the permanent chairmanship of the newly formed group.
David said: “The first meeting was to identify what the new community group would be about, and to create an identity for it.
“There were any number of topics discussed, including the raising of more funds for the club and giving us more presence around the local community in Hinckley.”
The group are interested in putting up our fixtures posters around the town. David has asked anyone who uses a shop, pub or cafe on a regular basis to get in touch with him on a matchday to arrange for monthly fixtures posters to be posted.
