Easy Laundry Player of the Month for March

March 2017 POTMThe vote is now open for the Easy Laundry Player of the Month for March, but who do you think was the club’s best player over the last month?

Sam Agar, Ryan Seal, Haydn Whitcombe and Sean Williams are the nominees, and  each need your votes to be crowned the winner.

AFC played seven games this month and Agar scored in six of them, his only blank afternoon coming at Studley last week. The forward was also involved in several other goals with impressive link up play and his introduction helped turn the away game at Pershore Town in his side’s favour.

Seal is the second nominee, making it onto the list courtesy of his two hat-tricks this month against Rocester and Southam United in those two comprehensive wins. He also scored an exquisite volley in League Cup tie at St Andrews and is now just two goals away from reaching 50 for the season.

Goalkeeper Whitcombe is the third nominee. The former Littleton man’s run of playing every minute of every game since signing in August was broken when Jack Hartopp played at Southam, but a solid month between the posts ensures he makes it onto the list. He made a string of late match winning saves against Lichfield to ensure his side took the points in a performance that earned him the Harrowbrook MOT Centre Man of the Match award. He also made vital contributions at Pershore Town, St Andrews and Studley.

Sean Williams is the final name on the list. He also found the net in both big wins against Rocester and Southam, starting the scoring in the latter, but versatility saw him play up front, on the wing, just behind the striker and in midfield this month, contributing well wherever he played. He played every minute during March until coming off on the hour against Southam.
