Hinckley AFC director Gerry Abbott was taken ill at yesterday’s game against Rocester after suffering what was described as a “minor stroke” at half time.
A first aider arrived during the second half and an ambulance was also called as a precaution, but we are pleased to report that he is stable in hospital and is hoping to be released in the near future.
All at the club wish Gerry a quick return to full health and we hope to see him back at St John’s Park soon.
