The Hinckley AFC Board of Directors now has 12 members after three new directors joined the Board recently.
Steph McKeown and Andy Biffin were nominated before the AGM and, with no election required, automatically joined the Board, while Paul Griffin was co-opted at Monday’s Board meeting alongside Ray Baggott, despite his initial nomination withdrawal.
Chairman Steve Jelfs said the Board felt Ray was an integral member of the Board over the last year, and wanted additional business acumen, which Paul will bring.
He said: “I’m pleased to say that we decided that, despite his nomination withdrawal, we felt that we really needed Ray Baggott to remain on the board and I’m pleased to say that he agreed to be co-opted for the coming year.
“We also co-opted Paul Griffin. Having a good commercial background and having been involved with Hednesford Town, we felt that his commercial and football experience, contacts and enthusiasm would be a great asset to the club and I’m pleased to welcome him onto the board.
On the two nominated directors, he said: “I’m sure Steph and Andy will inject some fresh energy and new ideas, and it’s great to see some new faces on the Board.”
