Captain Ryan Seal will make his 50th appearance for Hinckley AFC if he plays in tomorrow’s match against Pelsall Villa at St John’s Park, kick off 3pm.
The former Kirby Muxloe man will become the ninth player to reach the landmark for the club should he take to the field in the Midland League Division One game.
His recent hot run of form has also seen him become the club’s record goalscorer, and the first player to reach a half century of goals for the club, in the last couple of weeks.
Tomorrow’s game sees AFC, unbeaten in eight and looking to extend that run, take on a Pelsall side who sit thirteenth in the table.
They have lost four of their opening nine games, but three have been to Bromsgrove Sporting, Nuneaton Griff and Atherstone Town – all of whom currently sit in the top five.
They have also recorded impressive wins over Leicester Road and Bolehall Swifts but are now without a win in their last three.
Going forward, Osiris Robinson (six goals) and Nathan Stone (five) have both started the season well while Villa have also kept two clean sheets in their last four games.
Last season, the sides met twice in a short space of time towards the end of the season. First, Pelsall came away from St John’s Park with a point after a second half comeback, before an Isaac Cooper brace gave Hinckley all three points at The Bush Ground less than three weeks later.
