As plans for the 2016-17 season progress at pace, Hinckley AFC’s pre-season arrangements have been confirmed today.
In a pre-season programme that will test Carl Abbott’s side ahead of the Midland League Division One season, the former Wolves Casuals boss has arranged friendlies against five sides from a higher level.
There are four away matches, along with three matches at St John’s Park, where we will spend a third season after the positive feedback received from players and supporters alike.
The first of those is against landlords Heather St John’s on Saturday 9th July, followed quickly by an away trip to Quorn on Tuesday 12th July.
Last season’s Midland League Premier Division high flyers Sporting Khalsa are the next to visit SJP on Saturday 16th July, before two away games at Bedworth United (Tuesday 19th July) and Wolves Sporting (Saturday 23rd July).
The campaign continues with a home game against Barwell on Tuesday 26th July, before concluding with a trip to Evo Stik League Division One South side Market Drayton Town on Saturday 30th July.
At present, Saturday matches will kick off at 3pm and evening matches at 7-45pm, but this is subject to change.
