Twelve Moments of Christmas: Number Four

As you may have expected, the FA Cup features heavily in our ‘Twelve Moments of Christmas’, and at number four is the last few minutes of our replay at Walsall Wood.

The sides couldn’t be separated after 175 minutes of football, and the match stood at 1-1 as it looked destined for extra time.

With five minutes to go, substitute Justin Nisbett slid the ball under home ‘keeper Mariusz Kisiel to give Hinckley the lead again, with progression to the next round secured when Javia Roberts’ sublime piece of skill saw him cross for Marco Adaggio to score a third.

For the pure jubilation sparked on the terraces by those final few moments, the game earns its place at number four on our list.
