Walker Departs
Hinckley AFC can this evening confirm that record appearance holder Nathan Walker has left the club.
Since joining before our inaugural 2014-15 campaign, ‘Walks’ has been a prominent and regular figure in the middle of the park, making 66 appearances (nine more than anybody else).
A supporters’ favourite who won Player of the Year last term, he also possessed a fierce long range shot and chipped in with ten goals during his time at St John’s Park.
In a post on his Facebook page, Nathan said: ‘I’d like to thank everyone at Hinckley AFC for my time at the club but I’ve made the decision to leave.
‘I’d like to thank the fans for making me feel extremely welcome during my eighteen months or so. I’ve had some great times and met some great people.
‘I’d also like to wish the club and the lads all the best for the future.’
The club would like to thank Nathan for his contributions and efforts in a Hinckley AFC, and he leaves with all our best wishes for the future.
