A former Aston Villa schoolboy, Trovarn Thompson is a centre forward who is equally comfortable operating on the wing and possesses blistering pace.

He had a scholarship with Mansfield Town and started 2013-14 well with their youth team, scoring seven times in thirteen games before a back injury curtailed his progress.

He was recently with Barwell, where he spent time on loan at Midland League Premier outfit Coventry Sphinx and scored twice in four games for them, including in their remarkable 6-4 FA Vase triumph over Black Country Rangers.
