Diminutive central midfielder Lee Butler joined Hinckley AFC from Romulus in February 2016.
The former Northwich Victoria man joined The Roms from Chasetown, for whom he made more than a hundred appearances.
He struck up a dominant partnership with Darious Darkin in the middle of the park, and his combative challenges combined with creative spark quickly made him a favourite amongst AFC supporters to the extend that he was runner-up in the 2016-17 Supporters’ Player of the Year vote.
