Exciting young prospect Max Kirby became one of AFC Stoneham’s youngest-ever players when he made his first-team debut there aged 16 in 2024.

He then featured 14 times in one of the most successful seasons a step five club has ever had – Stoneham won the Wessex Premier, FA Vase and two local cups in a quadruple, with Kirby named their Young Player of the Season.

But he moved to the Midlands for university in the autumn and Hinckley quickly swooped to make him part of Chris Tullin’s squad.
