A powerful midfield player, Matt Brown was part of the Leicester Nirvana side that won at Hinckley in March 2026 and such was his impact on the game that the management team made a quick swoop to sign him the following summer.

Brown was on the books at West Brom until the age of 16 before making his foray into non-league with a host of Leicestershire clubs including Saffron Dynamo, Ingles, St Andrews, Desborough Town and Ashby Ivanhoe.

But it was with Nirvana where he spent plenty of his time over the last three seasons, featuring 21 times for them in the United Counties Premier South following a brief stint with Birstall United.
