Luke Jones, who can play either on the wing or in an attacking midfield role, worked with Joe Conneely at the Strachan Foundation before gaining step five experience with Coventry United in 2018/19. He also featured for Rugby Borough.

Since then, he has been playing in the USA where his most recent club was Texas-based Lubbock Matadors in the fourth tier of American soccer, and he returned to the UK earlier in 2024 before joining Hinckley.

A good season followed as, after a start in which he was dual registered with Lutterworth Athletic, he came back to Hinckley in October time and chipped in with nine goals for the remainder of the season.

He caught the eye of Nuneaton Town early in the following season, and scored on debut, but soon returned to Hinckley just a couple of months later.
