A talented player who can feature up front or in a midfield role, local lad Jake Brown joined from NKF Burbage just after the start of the 2019/20 season.

Having originally been signed by Carl Abbott three seasons prior, his only involvement after being signed from Nuneaton Griff was as an unused substitute and he soon joined Atherstone Town.

But after leaving Sheepy Road, he joined NKF Burbage and was influential in their promotion from Division Two and in their first season in Division One, scoring 30 times for them across two seasons.

Formerly on the academy books at Stoke City, he scored two goals in his first four games under Courtney Belford and quickly made the middle of midfield his own.

He departed later that season and went on to feature for Leicester Road, Atherstone again (this time under Ross Innes and Adam Davies), Ashby Ivanhoe and most recently Lutterworth Town, for whom he played against Hinckley last season, before returning in the summer of 2026.
