Ross Innes was appointed as one third of Hinckley AFC’s new management team, alongside Adam Davies and Chris Tullin – replacing Joe Conneely in August 2025.

A former Leicester City academy coach, he worked with the likes of Harvey Barnes and Hamza Choudhury in their development into Premier League footballers, and also lists the Birmingham City academy on his CV.

He first joined Hinckley as Courtney Belford’s assistant in 2019, having previously worked with Belford at Nuneaton Griff, but left a few months later to take up the management role at Atherstone alongside Davies.

There, they took charge of two FA Vase quarter-finals and guided the team to the Midland League Division One title, losing just one league match for the entirety of the 2021/22 season with Tullin as a coach.

After stabilising the club at step five, the trio left in the summer of 2023 and then re-united to take up the role at Hinckley a couple of years later.
