Sleep Out
To help give our full support to the petition regarding the sale of junior pitches at the Greene King Stadium, Hinckley AFC are proposing a sleep out protest on the evening of Friday 23rd January, six days before the auction.
The aim is to put maximum pressure on the council and other parties, and to generate media coverage, and a planning meeting will be held this Sunday, 11th January, at 2pm in Gadsby’s.
Although a ‘sleep out’, facilities will be provided for the vulnerable, elderly and children, or anyone who requires them.
Hinckley AFC club secretary Steve Jelfs offered his full support to the sleep out, saying: ‘Please support this very worthy cause. It will be a night to remember and we will be making history – please join us.’
