December’s Team of the Month

Hinckley AFC have been awarded the Midland Football League’s Team of the Month for December.

The month saw Carl Abbott’s side win all four league matches, scoring nineteen goals in the process to rise to fourth in the table.

Chairman Gary Hancox was delighted to win the award, saying: ‘This is just rewards for all the hard work that has been put in from the very beginning; from the Working Group, the supporters and Carl, Paul and the players on the pitch.’

The other winners were Lye Town from the Premier Division, Coventry United from Division Two and Enville Athletic from Division Three.
