Management update at end of March

Ross, Adam and Chris have given their latest management update as we reach the end of March, with just three games left of the 2025/26 season.

“As always, a huge thank you to our travelling support both home and away. We have a very loud group and we appreciate it, and so do the players.

It has been an indifferent but largely positive month. With two wins on the bounce but more importantly two good performances in challenging conditions, with our new signings settling in, starting well and adding real value quickly.

We have a tight group forming who enjoy each other’s company and have gone into battle for each other in recent games. That’s a key for us, you need to back your mates up in every aspect of the game for people to take risks and feel confident.

We have a group that has some very experienced lads who have played a lot of games this level, as well as the teenagers and young men who are picking up experience really quickly. Yesterday we ended the game with Div, Jacob, Jake, Charlie, Devonn and Afonso all ranging in age between 17-20 on the pitch, as well as Prince and Caleb backing that up, meaning we go into the summer and next season with a young group who have already played a lot of games.

We have a feeling that it will be one of those seasons that will end at the wrong time for us, but it’s encouraging nonetheless that we have closed out games without a real glove laid on us, and arguably should have won by a fair few goals.

The top half of the league is really hotting up and is interesting. It’s easy to stay motivated up there, but our lads have taken initiative to continue to play with intent, a good sign for the next version of us.

Onwards always 💙❤️”
