Match Preview: Coventry Copsewood (a)
Hinckley AFC make the short journey down the M69 to Coventry Copsewood tomorrow afternoon in the hope of recording back to back wins.
Following last week’s comprehensive 4-0 victory over Southam United, Abbo’s men will travel to Allard Way in a confident mood, and with happy memories of the ground where Justin Nisbett scored a stunning late winner last season.
Tomorrow, they will come up against a Copsewood side who have only played twice in the league since 5th December, but recorded a 3-1 cup win over Tipton Town on Wednesday.
The current holders of the Coventry Charity Cup, Copsewood have won seven and lost seven of their eighteen league games thus far, sitting eleventh in the league on 25 points.
Having played the same amount of games, AFC have 35 points, but will remain in seventh regardless of the result tomorrow although a win would keep up the pressure on the other sides chasing FA Cup qualification.
Hinckley are likely to come up against a familiar face tomorrow in the shape of striker Michael Healy. He scored three times for AFC last season and was a substitute for Copsewood in midweek.
