Twelve Moments of Christmas: Number Six

At number six in Hinckley AFC’s ‘Twelve Moments of Christmas’ is Nathan Walker’s free kick in the FA Cup at Bromsgrove Sporting.

With the game level at 1-1 midway through the first half, Hinckley were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box when Bromsgrove’s Simon Fitter saw red for a challenge on Javia Roberts.

From the resulting set piece, Walker stepped up and curled home a delightful free kick as AFC took full advantage of their extra man, romping to a memorable 6-2 victory.

And arguably the most memorable moment of that afternoon was Walker’s free kick, which squeezes into the top half of our twelve favourite moments from 2015.
