Ponchinello’s Player of the Month: Rico Taylor

Congratulations to Rico Taylor, who was emphatically voted by supporters as the Ponchinello’s Player of the Month for September.

Predominantly a winger, the former Tamworth man slotted in at left back for large parts of September and looked assured and composed as part of a back four that kept three clean sheets over the month.

When he reverted back to his more familiar position, his pace and trickery caused opposition full backs no end of problems, and he was rewarded by picking up almost half of the votes cast ahead of Jean Kalenda in second. Luke Richards and Javia Roberts tied for third.

Rico was presented with his award by supporters in the bar after yesterday’s match at Pershore Town.
