League Constitution Confirmed

League Constitution Confirmed

The constitution of teams in the Midland Football League was ratified at the league AGM on Thursday evening, and Division One sees three changes to the line up from 2014-15.

The first change sees Heath Hayes, relegated from the Premier Division, replacing Highgate United, who returned to the Premier Division at the first time of asking with their promotion.

Alvis Sporting finished bottom of the league last year and have been relegated to Division Two, while Uttoxeter Town have resigned from the Midland League to return to the Staffordshire County League, giving a reprieve to Pelsall Villa.

Promoted from Division Two are Coventry United (who will groundshare at Coventry Sphinx next season) and Leicester Road.

After spending last season at Alvechurch, Cadbury Athletic have now entered into a ‘long-term agreement’ to groundshare at Pilkington XXX.

A full list of teams in the league, with postcodes of their grounds and mileages can be found on our ‘Opposition’ page, and we will post further details of our opponents’ ground shortly before our trip there.
