Gardner Re-Signs

Hinckley AFC manager Carl Abbott yesterday confirmed the re-signing of striker Matt Gardner from league rivals Bromsgrove Sporting.

Gardner scored seventeen goals in sixteen games for AFC earlier this season, including two hattricks, before leaving the club in January.

Abbott has swooped to bring Gardner back to the club for the final five games of the season with Michael Healy likely to be out for three weeks through injury. Abbott is, however, confident that the former Alvis man will be available for the Jelson Homes Senior Cup Final on 28th April.
