Twelve Days of Christmas: May

The month of May was when the on-field side of things began to take shape at Hinckley AFC.

Early in the month, Carl Abbott and Kevin Thompson were appointed as our first management team. They brought their first three signings – JJ Melligan, Avun Jephcott and Matt Bailey – to the public consultation meeting on Monday 19th.

We also announced our pre-season fixture schedule, which would start with a match against our landlords on 5th July and include a home match against Conference North side Tamworth, and launched our Community Lottery.

Towards the end of the month, another group of three players signed: Bekir Halil, Tyrone Clarke-O’Connell and Luke Richards all agreeing to play for the club for its inaugural season.
