Match Preview: Atherstone Town (h)
Hinckley AFC will aim to stretch their unbeaten run to ten matches in all competitions when they take on Atherstone Town at St John’s Park this afternoon, kick off 3pm.
Their last defeat came back in October, a 2-1 defeat to Alvechurch in the JW Hunt Cup, and their recent resurgence has seen them climb to eighth in the Midland League First Division table.
If results go their way this afternoon, they could even climb as high as fifth, but Atherstone are in good form themselves, having won four on the bounce before a defeat to Lichfield City last time out.
Their recent resurgence has coincided with the arrival of Cameron Stuart – the former Coalville man has scored nine goals in five games for the Adders and is sure to be their main threat this afternoon.
