Match Preview: Pershore Town (h)
Hinckley AFC will entertain Pershore Town at St John’s Park today in the hope of making it four wins from five in the league.
After last week’s win over Atherstone, followed by progression to the Jelson Homes Senior Cup quarter finals with victory over Allexton and New Parks, confidence is high in the Hinckley camp.
With Nuneaton Griff and Southam United both in FA Vase action this afternoon, Hinckley will move into the top half of the Midland League First Division with a win this afternoon.
After last week’s home defeat by Lichfield City, Pershore lie eighteenth, but they will move up two places with a victory.
It will be Pershore’s first of two trips to St John’s Park this week – they return to face Heather St John’s next weekend.
