Tomlinson: The Future is Bright
Hinckley AFC coach Paul Tomlinson says that despite the recent run of results, the squad remain confident of a bright future at the club.
Speaking after Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Studley, Tomlinson said that the players hold a belief that results will improve in the near future.
‘The most important thing is that the players are sticking together. There’s a belief there in what we’re trying to do.
‘We’ve really built two squads here this year. We began at the start of pre-season, then you lose quite a few faces, and we are having to start again ten games in, and we’re still rebuilding.
‘But I think the back line that we’re getting together now, including Isaac Cooper, who couldn’t play today, and Alex Morris, who’s just arrived, means that the future is very bright.
‘We just need to turn these positive performances into results, and then I think we can go on a good run.
