A Note From the Chairman

On the eve of Hinckley AFC’s first league fixture, interim chairman Gary Hancox has a message for the supporters.
‘First of all, to Carl and the players, thank you for a great pre-season. There were so many magic moments: scoring our first goal and recording our first win were two moments I won’t forget quickly.
‘That said, the most important thing is that we have a team, and that they try to play in the right way.
‘My personal highlight was Greg Webb in goal at Rushden on Wednesday. It wasn’t just about his clean sheet, but the spirit that the whole team showed in that second half.
‘Tomorrow is the beginning of what we set out to do back in December. The respect I have for everyone involved in helping our club reach this stage is unlimited.
‘They can all be rightly proud of their achievements. If you’re going to the game tomorrow, please find them out and thank them – they deserve it.
‘Whatever the season brings, lets support OUR team, Hinckley AFC (it still feels wonderful to say that!) and be sure to enjoy it.
‘I can’t wait’
