A centre-back also capable of playing on the left, Ethan Flaig joined Hinckley AFC in the summer of 2025 from Long Buckby.

He made his first-team breakthrough with Buckby, and was part of their side that was promoted to step five in the two seasons curtailed by covid lockdowns.

Like many of that side, he soon joined Rugby Borough and also helped them to promotion to the United Counties Premier South at the first attempt.

He went on to play a further 33 times for Borough in their debut season at step five, and has racked up more than 200 games for those two clubs.
